Director of Membership

Sylvia Waynick is the Membership Director of the Arizona Housing Coalition a non-profit 501(c) (3), leading the efforts to end homelessness and advocate for safe, affordable homes for all Arizonans. 

Sylvia professional years of experience in both the public and private sector bring key emphasis; project management, relationship building, and strategic planning and, process improvement.  Oversee developing, strengthening, and maintaining the membership network statewide; collaborative partnerships with government entities, non-profit organization and association to capitalize statewide presence. A desire and passion in relationship building; focuses on challenging projects and seeing a real value in terms of rendering a valuable and valued service to the Coalition’s members and the community. Sylvia has also coordinated and orchestrated large-scaled industry conferences.

Formally, Ms. Waynick was a Project Manager of the Arizona Foreclosure Prevention Task Force.  Managing multiple projects, including planning, producing and facilitating Webinar’s. Led volunteer community leaders; lenders, housing counseling and community information and referral agencies steering events and outreach program rollouts. Planned and executed over 120 outreach events, reaching over 22,600 families seeking foreclosure prevention mortgage assistance. 

Sylvia received her education in business administration, a bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix and a master’s degree from Warren National University. Additionally, from Arizona State University, is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Ms. Waynick is a proud veteran of the US Navy.
