Operations Manager

Robyn Murphy is the Operations Manager for the Texas Association of Community Development Corporations (TACDC), a nonprofit statewide trade association of CDCs and other housing stakeholders.

As Operations Manager, Robyn provides inspired leadership for all of TACDC’s lines of business and helps to promote a company culture that encourages morale and performance. Robyn is responsible for maintaining and increasing the efficiency of the organization, strategizing process improvements, branding, member programming, and direct member customer service. Robyn oversees TACDC’s membership engagement, marketing, event planning, financial processes, social media, and all other communications.  Robyn is a self-taught bookkeeper, and manages all administrative duties related to the organization’s Board of Directors and Sponsor Roundtable.

In addition, her work at TACDC, Robyn serves as bookkeeper and board secretary for TACDC’s subsidiary organization, Texas Community Capital (TCC).  In this capacity, Robyn handles customer service, monthly fund account reconciliation, web design and maintenance, and social media output. Outside of TACDC and TCC, Robyn freelances as a web designer. Robyn has experience as a small business owner herself, and currently runs a small cake baking business.

Robyn is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Modern Languages.  Prior to joining TACDC, she worked as an Accounts Payable Specialist with First American Flood Data Services.  In her spare time, you can catch Robyn Irish step dancing, nerding out on Lord of the Rings, or cuddling up with a cup of tea and her husband, two sons, and two dogs.
