Senior Consultant

Freda Epum is a Senior Consultant at ThirdSpace Action Lab. She is also the former Program Director at Public Allies Cincinnati, a leadership development program with a social justice lens. Her past responsibilities include facilitating and developing curriculum, recruiting partners committed to equity and professional development, as well as mentoring the next generation of leaders. Before joining Public Allies, she worked with a diverse range of learners in museums, higher education, and vocational rehabilitation centers. She co-founded the Black American Tree Project, a participatory performative history lesson and Truth & Reconciliation experience which has had over 500 participants including nonprofit leaders, corporate teams, boards of directors, philanthropists, artists, and students.She is the author of the chapbook, Entryways into memories that might assemble me, and is at work on a memoir about the intersections of race, illness, and belonging in America.
